In 1852, Trinity Bellwoods was home to Trinity College, the beautiful white entrance gates to Trinity College are still standing on the south end of Tinity Bellwoods where Strachan meets Queen Street West. The development of Trinity Bellwoods began in the 1880’s and was completed at the beginning of the 1900’s.
Today, Trinity Bellwoods is a very popular neighbourhood for both owners and renters of Toronto real estate. Trinity Bellwoods Park is the focal point of this unique and edgy neighbourhood. You will find the park filled with many locals and visitors during the summer months. The park includes a dog park, skating rink, tennis courts, playground and some of Toronto’s most stunning cherry blossom trees which attract visitors in the early spring for viewings of the colours. Along Queen West, you will find many different cafes, restaurants and fashion boutiques.
Most of the homes in Trinity Bellwoods were built between the late 1800’s and early 1900’s. They mainly consist of Victorian style homes with many either facing or backing onto Trinity Bellwoods Park. There are also a small number of low rise condo and loft buildings in the area.
